Desmond Wolfe/ Pope update (contains spoilers)

Desmond Wolfe returned to TNA Wrestling during tonight's Xplosion taping as the commissioner of the show.

it's a great shame that he has retired (with this move it pretty much guarantees it) because he's a very talented guy.

"The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero worked a match against Suicide at the Xplosion taping so he is still with TNA Wrestling.

SO Wolfe is the commissioner of Impact.

WEll at least thats one good thing that TNA have done. Only several thousand to go not.

I did read that originally but then mistyped! Silly, silly me!

YEAH! Commissioner of Xplosion! That's like being GM of Superstars right?

On a serious note, gutted that it looks as if his in-ring career is over. He could have been one of the very best and if only Hogan and Bischoff hadn't shown up in TNA he would possibly have had a well-deserved title run.

I'd rather he headed up his own faction - not necessarily a 'British Invasion' style group - because the Commissioner/GM/Director of Authority role has been overplayed. And the fact it's on Xplosion makes it a double waste of his talents.

Great yet another on screen authority figure
