McCafferty will probably, and finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!, use the media platform of such an auspicious occasion to announce actual established details of the new RCC.  Who is in it, when it will begin, the format, perhaps dates, prize money etc

The fact that there are girls there says it all. Although, in fairness, they'll probably know a lot more about rugby than Andrew 'CEO' Hore.

It seems as though this event is being ignored by virtually everyone. Except me now. And quite rightly too.

Nobody's ever heard of it. I've spent the last several hours researching it and it's the corporate equivalent of a load of (skiddy) pants.

The only rugby person there is Beaumont. And he only went because there's an 'all you can eat' buffet.

He's still there.

The Times reported that "the Expo finished with Bill Beaumont on the main platform whipping down Mark McCafferty's jockeys and giving him a sound trashing like the miscreant schoolboy that he is"  

Some twitter lunatic tweeted something like "made some awesome contacts networking at #rugbyexpo see y'all next year guys"

I used to think that every time one of these conference things are held then a little bit of rugby dies inside.

But they're so low profile that I don't think anyone notices them now.

There's one in Dublin next week. You can have breakfast with Seb Coe. Great player he was.

Our med school girls are pretty good (despite mostly being tiny) and England have an excellent women's rugby team slowly growing in coverage
