London pre- Christmas drinks.

As has become traditional, the London area 606ers will be meeting up for a few festive snifters and discussing the AIs and the merits of pie!

Venue - Kings Arms, Roupell Street, Waterloo (this should make it easier for some members to get to and from).

Date - 20th November from 5pm.

We hope to see as many of you as possible.

down on several previous occasions, and I think he almost came close to accepting once - but in all honesty, would his malarkey be the same if we actually met the guy?

I guess we're lucky down here in that we have a mix of nationalities to get an interesting discussion going, and a good transport system.

I think PenfroPete organised something similar for anyone living around Cardiff last year.

The HC final meet ups have been epic, with 30 or so 606ers meeting up for the weekend. Damn good craic, with everyone wearing their club shirts, and we raise some money for charity.

Penfro organised the 2011 gig in Cardiff. AsLong and myself sorted out Twickenham in 2012 and Rava (no longer posts on 606) and RedStag sorted out Dublin this year.

We usually organise a private room and a buffet lunch. Just about everyone who were 'regulars' in the virtual pub, which has seen a drop off in contributors recently, turn up (many now keep in touch via other media). I expect most of the usual suspects will be in Cardiff next year.

I think Penfro is organising Cardiff next year. Me and my Wasps pal are staying in Bris and getting the train in from there. The hotels in S. Wales are asking crazy prices for that weekend.

LOL. will do you a deal - if somehow england do manage to win at the weekend (and i agree with the bookies 5:1 against odds at the mo, maybe worse without corbs) i'll make sure you dont have to reach into your pocket all evening.

BD - unfortunately I'm only doing the day of the final this year. So it will be into Bris for about 10ish. Dump the gear at the Ibis TM, then get the train to the 'Diff.

On the Sunday we'll be hoping to get some brekky in a Wetherspoons, and (a big) maybe - a cab out to The Robin Hoods Retreat on the Glaws Road before returning to London.

I am still in 2 minds- I could go up to winter wonderland in hyde park and help my lads out on a job and then pop in for 1, or I could stay in the warmth of my home.

The later is going to happen, the weather is fiecked.
