I think Scarlets will beat Leinster, who start the season notoriously poorly before they come into form. I think Ulster will beat Dragons but only by a few points. I don't think Ospreys will hit Treviso for 17, in fact I can see Treviso sneaking it. Glasgow I think will win by more than 8, the other two are pretty spot on

1. Probably right there. Leinster seem to have the slightly better team on the field. Add to that the benches are worlds apart and expect to see some critical camios to swing it for Leinster.

2. Again prediction looks about right. If anything Ulster can win by more.

3. Cant see a Glasgow win by 8. Blues have picked a really descent team ahead of this match. And I think blues certainly have the beating of Glasgow on tries given the players Glasgow are missing. Packs look evenly matched.

4. I can see a Zebre win in Galway. Italian outfits are at full strength due to no lions commitments. Zebre by 3

5. Agree with a Munster win by that margin

6. Got to be a Treviso win. 14 starting Internationals in what looks to be a fairly close first team lineup. Ospreys seriously have their work cut out for them. Treviso by 8

I like the teams selected by the regions for this weekends matches. All four have put out god sides. With those players that are available.

Really looking forward to seeing whether the Dragons can turn their fortunes around a bit, whether Scarlets and the Ospreys can move forward from last year and as to whether Phill Davies right boot has been big enough to give the Blues the kick up the backside they needed after last year...

I think the games will be close. As an optimist I think all four have a very good chance.

Toughest challenge will be Glasgow up there. Never easy. Bloody good side and very well coached.

I was surprised that on SuperBru, the community prediction is about 65% for the Ospreys to beat Treviso. I think Ospreys are traditional slow starters and Treviso are bloody tough in Italy.
