Since just about every thread on this board is a speculative one I thought it would be a good idea to put all of these speculative threads into one big super thread.

This would ensure that we don't wake up every morning to find half a dozen pointless new threads about things that no one cares about, such as:

Who would win if Mike Tyson fought Jack Johnson in the middle of the desert with only one bottle of water to share between them?

Who is the greatest middleweight to have spent a minimum of five years in jail?

If Calazaghe and Hopkins fought at 60 years of age, who would win?

Fastest gum shield spit out in a world title fight.

Fighters who had nightmares before world title fights.

Fighters who trained while eating burgers and chips.

Pac vs the ghost of Naseem Hamed (in 50 years time).

And any other pointless dross that some people feel obliged to subject us to. Such as any article written by Trussman (that'll probably reduce the pointless dross level by about 50%). Because, let's face it, this board is clogged up with ridiculous, pointless articles about what if scenarios - in fact just about every other forum on here is engrossed in debating the current matchups but the boxing board seems to discuss everything other than that!

This project will further ensure that fans of boxing can actually talk about real bouts.

To be fair, there is only so much Cr%p I can take about Haye vs Fury at the moment. I appreciated the distraction!

Emancipator - I didn't know your time/space continuum travelling abilities cross over into the boxing section!

Hello KR Hug

I have been a long time contributor to the boxing boards - just less frequently nowadays.

I see that many things have gone into disarray in my absence.

I may have to use my freelance moderator powers to put the world back into order.

Haha might as well give it a go... Since the polo-ticks forum got shut down the boxing section has been very snappy. Blocked up emotions and all that!

Trust you enjoyed your honeymoon in space mate!

There's no need to create a thread which basically insults truss.

Emancipator has a point to be fair, things are mucn better on tennis with endless arguments over who is better between Nadal and Federer with most on either side making D4 look balanced in his views on Floyd.

Who would win if Mike Tyson fought Jack Johnson in the middle of the desert with only one bottle of water to share between them?
Johnson after Tyson falls badly from his camel.

Who is the greatest middleweight to have spent a minimum of five years in jail?
Monzon before he fell badly from a camel.

If Calazaghe and Hopkins fought at 60 years of age, who would win?
Hopkins easy.

Fastest gum shield spit out in a world title fight.
Toney v Jirov

Fighters who had nightmares before world title fights.
Johnson dreamt his opponent would fall badly from a camel, then when he went and looked at his downed foe, he was looking at himself.

Fighters who trained while eating burgers and chips.
Toney who also smoked

Pac because ghosts can't ride camels

Is Bactrian John-Lewis the worst referee in the desert?

Can Dromedary Mathews go 12 rounds without taking on water?

If a camel lost to a Klit, would we want to see its toe?

Probably, but joe 'fair but therm' Cortez would make him sweat for that title

Yes, but it would give him the hump.

The camel would snatch victory, leaving klit feeling like a bit of a see you next Tuesday... and k2 promotions like a lady in the canoe without a paddle
