Chiefs new kit is being 'show cased' tonight at the season launch. I appreciate that this is no help to this thread at all. I just wanted to look like i knew something...

To echo EE, the Scarlets launch on the 14th August. I prey it is a case of keeping the best till last.

The Blues one is a good way to pull support in from outside the City aye. I like the Glaws away one personally.

Dragons are doing a kit launch on the 31st July at Caldicot Castle. With that you get a free ticket to the Bath friendly, if you wear a previous season's shirt on the day.

I've no clue as to what the new kit will be like.  I did like last seasons when they went back to the basic black and white, but also incorporated the regions' club names into it.  Just nothing that's too flourescent will suit me...

Some will say the European shirt is too busy, but I like it, sort of celto-Chief!! Its a shame that we've drawn Cardiff, Glasgow and Toulon, all of whom have black kits, so I can see us playing in white in at least 3 European games

I put a suggestion forward to the ponty faithful that the navy stripes on the blues shirt should be made black in reference to the ponty colours...they didn't seem too happy, no idea why

I think the cup kit is a vast improvement on last season's. Home kit looks very good but the change strip is a little too similar to the existing one for me. I do like that home kit though... (inspects contents of wallet, sadly puts back in pocket.)

I actually quite like that "busy" Exeter Chiefs top with the swirly bits on...the black and white kits looks like they could be Ospreys ones

That Leicester kit looks like bathroom tiles or a table cloth design. Bit dull for a kit really especially if you're watching them play in that from a distance.

I do like the Leinster blue, but I think the white stripes make it look cheap a bit compared to their previous kits.  My fave was always the Milky Way top...

Am thinking I should've posted this AFTER the O's kit comes out.

I quite like all 3 Exeter kits, but I don't really like the idea of having 3 alternatives. There is not team that will clash with both the first and the second, and I doubt many fans will realistically buy 2 shirts let alone 3 every year. Just means some poor parent is going to be the one who buys their kid a shirt only to see the team never wear it.

Think those Leinster stripes will look a lot better once the shirt is being worn. Always tough to judge from a photo of a baggy top on a hanger.

The Munster strip O'Connell is wearing is great.

Just looked at the kits. All decent aye. Pretty par for the course on three kits for each club/region/province though? I ended up buying 2/3 Dragons ones last season (didn't buy the away one, as it didn't change bar sponsor). Every kit got worn though. Even the Dragons on their short cup stints got some good use out of their cup kit.

Leinster kit looks nicer when worn, still not mad about the "harp strings" but I really like the colour:

Seriously though, it looks like 2 very different shades of blue in those pictures. I wonder which is the truer representation?

The wiggly lines remind me of the insignia of the Water Service here.

Maybe I'm quite chavy but I quite like it, much better than the horrible blue striped one...

I suppose, English chavs are very different from Scottish jakies/neds- I would say it was quite jakie-like too, which definitely isn't a good thing!

Jacky is a fantastic word. I've a Scottish colleague who introduced me to it years ago, whenever i say it to an Irish person (in context) they just get it, which is the sign of a good word...

Good grief that's an ugly looking shirt. It might well look much better stretched over a winger's torso mind.  

For Glasgow and Edinburgh, we're just waiting for those crazy Eye-talians at Macron to wheel out the new kits on 19 August. Rumours that Edinburgh will be sponsored by Tampax, Netta or Weightwatchers remain to be substantiated.

New Scotland kit out on 1 August. All indications point to something non-wanky and traditional. Which is nice.

They are right, the away kit is very 'Man U' circa Cantona, still like it though

It's a nice shade of blue. Nothing Cardiff about it.  

You sign our old players...you may as well try and get the same colour scheme to match  

I just want the season to start now!  

For what it stands for and the stick the Dragons get for "not being very regional", I love the change shirt. They're both alright (I wouldn't say there was anything to dislike on either of them really). Think for what it stands for, I'll buy the change top to start the season with.

I hope the collars aren't too naff for the fans versions....
