Out of interest, as a Shrewsbury fan, why the dislike for us?

I think its mainyl because of the fans I have spoken to there was always an arrogance that came across as 'we are better than this league'. You also had Grant Holt playing for you

To be fair I have noticed a change since we moved to the new stadium. We have gained more supporters as a result of the move and they seem to think that as we have a better stadium than most in League Two and we have one of the higher budgets that we should therefore be guarenteed promotion.

Although we should have got out of this league by now as how we only managed to get 7th the season when we had the squad featuring Holt I will never know. If we had any other manager than Paul Simpson I firmly believe we would have.

I think your right with that. Never had a problem when went to the old ground or had any issues. Even with the move to the new ground we parked up at a pub each time went and had a couple of pints and a nice stroll to the ground. Its just an aura given off by a few, which I suppose all clubs have!

We needed that promotion after the last couple of seasons, however I am worried by our squad next season and it will be interesting to see who is appointed as manager.
