Kieran Farrell

I've managed to get a phone interview with Kieran on Friday for the Journal. At just 22 he had his career ended due to brain damage after challenging Anthony Crolla for the English title.

I'm hoping to find out what type of support he has received since his injury and what he has planned for his future. If there any questions you guys want me to ask then post them in here and ill do my best to ask them.

No questions. Just wish him all the best. The guy almist paid the ultimate price and there are guys out there willingly taking steroids to inflict more damage on another boxer.

Do you plan to switch to training, have you had any offers?

I read an article about Kieran in Mondays guardian where he spoke of gaining 18lb from weigh in to fight night, I like to know how often boxers weights are monitored in the build up to a fight. And also wish him luck for the opening of his gym and his benefit evening.

Football is trying to stop as many players that have had their careers ended early for ruining their lives. Im just interested to see if boxing is doing something similar yet.
