Formula 1 Predictor Game:

Hello fellow F1 enthusiasts.

I am toying with the idea of a F1 Prediction game. Having run a similar game on the boxing thread of 606v2 I believe the idea can be easily applied to F1 but wanted to see whether there would be sufficient interest.

The idea being that each F1 weekend entrants will be required to submit there predictions for both qualifying and race day.

That is you will need to submit who you think will get into the TOP 10 in qualifying and then who will finish in the TOP 10 on race day. Your TOP 10 will need to be in order ...i.e. who will finish on 1st,2nd,3rd etc for both days. Multiple point will be up for grabs for example...

1 pt if that person gets into the top 10...2 bonus points if he finishes in the exact place you predicted.

There will also be additional bonus points up for grabs each weekend...these will be explained as & when needed.

So if your interested put your name down and I can get something quickly drawn up for the start of the F1 action.

Well not quite as many as I had hoped...clearly the Motorsport section isn't as busy as the boxing one.

I am happy to run this game with just the 5 of us chaps....and hope it perhaps picks up as the season goes on...but entirely up to everyone. No point doing it if anyone is going to not bother submitting as I am sure you will be aware these things do take up a bit of my time and I don't want to be wasting it if people are not properly commited.

If you guys are all interested in a predictor game why aren't you already playing in the interforum league? Is it the relatively early deadline for each race, the complicated scoring system, or something else?

id expect it's down to it being based on site so people don't have to sign up elsewhere and can do it in their free time

Ok lads....I'm going to get the ball rolling on this. I shall upload the rules etc within the next couple of hours.

Then we can start to get predictions in. If you can't get your Qualifying predictions in on time then still ensure you post your race predicitions.

Hopefully as the season commences others will get involved.
