Least worthy Oscar winners ??

Think Tom Hanks is a great actor.....but playing a monotone....halfwit in Forrest Gump really worth an Oscar....

A; Pachino for Scent of a woman. He was up against Denzel Washington who should have won the oscar for Malcolm X.

Same with Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs, pretty much stared into the camera talking in monotone.

Didn't realise The Departed had won, just sums up how pointless they are.

Hurt Locker.......simply dreadful. Never rated the Oscars at all.

There Will Be Blood........probably the worst film and two hours I've ever spent watching something

Titanic in '97, though that might be because I think it's the worst film ever made.

Anyone of them would have been more worthy winners for me (though of the 4 Full Monty's probably my favorite)

Downey Junior's take on Chaplin would have been a more worthwhile winner as well.

Thought the Departed was one of the better Oscar winning Films I've ever seen. The best film award (and best actor awards too) is rather polarised in my eyes as some are excellent films (King's Speech, Slumdog Millionaire, Chicago or the acting in the Artist and Last King of Scotland) but others are just poor in my opinion (TLOTR:TROTK was the worst film in the trilogy, the Hurt Locker and No Country for Old Men are borderline unfinishable, Titanic is abysmal).
