Team of the year 2012: Attacking midfielder

There was a few players i accidentally put in the central midfielders thread , the likes of Kaka who i will transfer to this.

Lewis Holtby but no Gerrard or Lampard? Players can play in more then one position

Gerrard was in the central midfield thread if i remember correctly, no player goes in two threads.

Has to be Silva. Without his displays for City last season, I don't think City would have won the league. Especially during the period before xmas, he was pretty much unplayable.

Mata has done well for Chelsea but last season he didn't really impress me that much. He's gone missing in a few games as well but has still been a class act don't get me wrong. I think Silva just edges that battle, sort of reflects why Silva is also ahead of him for Spain also.

Belhanda for his performances in the early part of 2012, Isco for the second half and Eriksen as he's been immence.
