Anyone see this on Sky last night. Recorded it but caught a few uncomfortable bits such as Froch questioning Haye's excuse of the little pinky in the Wlad fight.

I've got this recorded but saw the bit you mention on an advert, I'm looking forward to see what Hayes response was.

Just watched the 1st couple of minutes & Nelson admits to stinking the joint out against de Leon!

Froch, Haye Khan and Agogo all around the table. Surprised it wasn't talked more about on here.

There was a bit where Froch was playing down the twitter stuff with Khan. Didn't really buy it though, he said something along the lines of 'Me and Khan, I mean Amir, have been friends for years.

I read an article previewing it the other day and was looking forward to it....Before somehow completely forgetting that it was on last night. Will be taking a look tonight, though.

as much as like froch i thought he seemed he liked the sound of hes own voice , one of those who apologise when he interupt,s someone then carries on interupting anyway! also thought he seemed a little envious of haye with sly put downs and follow whatever haye said with [ i did it the hard way] , as much as dislike khan i thought he came across really wel and i think the programe will do good for hes public persona.
I thought it was a really good programe and hope they do it again, maybe after all of there next fights.

Great idea though and I can only echo the comments above that I hope this sort of thing becomes a regular feature. And why wouldn't it? All those egos in one place are always goingto bring entertainment.

Ogogo seems too nice

Haye is more likeable than I want him to be. His trash talk makes me dislike him intensely but away from that he seems OK.

Froch, despite liking him, seems really bitter. I clearly believe he resents the likes of Khan and Haye as they're bigger household names than him. He had a good few digs at Haye and the camera work showed him glaring after a few barbed statements. I'd say he's the best boxer out of the lot on that programme but he clearly wishes he was more well known. A shame because his exploits in the ring are far more appealing than the others exploits both in and outside the ring.

Great tv and good for the sport. Khan came across very well. Humble and pilite. A credit to Britain. Froch is a merchant banker. Bitter and rude. Hope Kessler does the sport if boxing a favour and thrashes him.

Nelson was very honest and a very decent compare. Ogogo should retire.

Froch annoys me because he makes a few comments that just do not look good.

I didn't like his comment where he was giving advice to Ogogo and said always be in the top shape when going into a fight. And then went on to attack a former opponent of his and say he went into the ring with....(forgot the name froch said) and nearly lost and he shouldn't have because the guy wasn't fit to lace his boots. Very disrespectful comments from Froch towards a previous opponent of his.

I thought Froch was quite funny, slight bit of resentment when he was talking about how he had to work his way up the ladder and do things the hard way whereas Khan had it a bit easier but I imagine once he's retired he'll be more suited to a quiet life away from the camera and will be thankful he's not as well known as Khan and Haye.

Nelson was good as well although if they do this kind of thing again I'd like to see him ask a few questions than might bring the boxers out of their comfort zone a bit, he seemed very keen not to annoy anyone. Good watch all in all.

Frochs only crime was to try and have a bit of banter and liven up proceedings, sadly the others werent quite on his wavelength, I actually was expecting Haye to be a bit more eloquent and sarcastic, but in a good way. Thought he was quite subdued.
That said the they all seemed to enjoy it and it was refreshing how honest all of them were, nobody really ducked anything, Khan missed the point a few times but much as I admire the guys willingness to fight anyone, he's no intellectual.

I have no doubt Froch is probably the smartest of the 4 but I think he sometimes tries too hard. Reminds me of some of the c***s I work with.

I dunno, I think Haye is a smart enough guy. I get the feeling Froch is carrying a bit of a chip on his shoulder about lack of recognition which is understandable I guess, even though now he is enjoying more recogntion than ever. But he is a straight talking guy and more often than not he has a point. He can just be blunt making it.

Froch was the guy trying to make it conversational. If he hadnt chipped in a few times it would basically have been Nelson asking everyone individual question one by one. Froch tried to get a bit of interaction going amongst everyone.
To be honest I thought it reflected positively on everyone, they all seemed liek pretty decent blokes to me.
Id like to see one where Degale and Groves were involved, that woudl be fun. Or Fury and Price, throw in Del Boy and Harrison and it would be a corking heavyweight edition.

Unlike the others Froch just says it as it is and I like that.

Really enjoyed the format and show.

Very interesting to hear the boxers talk about careers and things away from boxing. Plenty of light hearted banter between them all.

Froch was great.

Direct, to the point and not playing the celebrity. He was a breath of fresh air.

I enjoyed the show and liked that Froch brought up the sensitive issues about Haye's toe and the bitterness with Khan.

I just watched it in between shifts earlier, and I actually enjoyed it, thought Ogogo was being extremely diplomatic trying to come across as a Goldenboy, but I think he is genuinely a nice lad anyway.

Froch seemed a little bit more pushing with his views etc. but I don't mind, he's being himself and I like and respect that.

Haye was Haye, no suprises.

Khan came across a bit dimwitted, but he is, so no suprises there. Still a nice guy though, but seemed to go off on one and not really answer the questions properly at times, just through lack of intelligence though.

Nelson's story about the Pear Tree was funny and I thought he come across really well as always. Can't help but like listening to Johnny nowadays, think he's become a really good pundit, don't always agree with his views but can always see where he's coming from.

All in all I thought it was a good show and would love for them to do another one, maybe go a bit more in depth about there careers perhaps etc.

Ogogo looks like he has bubbles in his head. Froch has little to no filter, Haye is completely self-obsessed and chinny is a wee bit punch drunk.

However, I loved it.

Johnny Nelson trying to talk the Champ talk was funny. He was a bum fighter, lucky to win a world title.

I dont think it's that he has no filter, I think he can see when someone is trying to get around a point then says something to them in such a way to not cause offence but to get a proper response.

He knows the fans want to here proper answers as they can hear the usual drivel some boxers spat in 5 mins before a fight whereas the format was to go deeper than before. Of all the boxers, he sounded like the guy who liked the idea of the show more than the others.

Without Froch it would have been one-on-one for most of the programn as he got the people talking and expanded the conversations

He does come across every now and then a bit bitter but he hasn't had the same exposure as the others had as he wants t a recognised amateur like the others but he doesn't aim any malice towards the others

Nelson was good too and some of his story's of living off boxing in a different era. Just can't warm to Khan, dodges questions, goes on, throws a face when he is mentioned by another boxer. Haye was alright, not as brash as you would expect but as he said his persona is all fake to get the money/exposure/ fights etc. Ogogo was subdued but that was to be expected being a novice and not having the stories/success as the others

Good format and pretty insightful imo

Take Froch out of that programme it would have been and hour of dead air, the bloke does not pretend to be something he is not and says things how they are.

If another (you know the one) had spoken like Froch did, he would have been ripped to shreds on here. Personally I thought Froch was totally disrespectful to the other boxers apart from Ogogo. I mean he saying that he did it the hard way. F that. All the others did it the hard way also. Its not their fault that their career progression was faster than Carl's. They all got where they are the bloody hard way.

Regardless, Froch will be a very good TV pundit. I'm sure Sky will give him a job as Nelson's boy on Ringside after Kessler retires him.

loved the show.. dont see all the hate for froch.. he's friends with haye and has been for years, so comments he makes to haye are pretty much tongue in cheek. he also clarifies his remarks about khan - khan doing the same.

haye is pretty much his usual self.. khan too (dim).. froch carried the show

ogogo seems like a nice chap.

Haven't watched it yet...apparently Come Dine With Me takes precedence in our house (just wish I could be around when me and the Mrs have these meetings)

However, when you say Haye is is usual self, is he relatively pleasant and honest about his brash demeanour stating it genuinely is for show or is he, as some will insist, coming across as the classless cowarldy fraud they know him to be?

Also, just wondered if Froch is taking up the mantle of aggression seeing as how his other half has become much more subdued of late.

Its true that these guys probably know each other alot better behind the scenes so a remark that might appear below the belt is actually just banter. The show would be boring anyway if everyone just sat around recycling cliches and being afraid to offend. Still think Froch and Khan dont like each other though.

when you put 5 lads around a table people talk over each other, it happens. i notice it all the time.

5 lads with stories to tell and egos to feed, it's gonna happen.

i thought nelson was good although he got side tracked a little with people butting in and knocking his questions off course.

I've just watched it. I hope there's more of the same, a thoroughly enjoyable programme. I thought all of the boys came across well.

Saw this on Sky. Boxing could do with more of these. Khan is a tool but the other lads came across really well. Its good to let people know about the hard work that goes into a fight it aint just the fight itself. And not all boxers and mma fighters are minted. They work just s hard as anyone else for there money.
