Fleetwood manager Micky Mellon has been sacked following last week's 3-2 FA Cup defeat against Aldershot.

Fleetwood have worked there way up through the non league and as we know have a very good budget. They won the BSP and now lie 7th in League 2. Personally i feel the sacking is beyond stupid. But i guess with the amount they have spent, if your not in the top 3 come Christmas that isn't good enough for MR chairman.

Thoughts?

Any Fleetwood fans on here lol

Fleetwood have had a very decent season. But although being in a playoff spot is good they're only 2 points ahead of Northampton in 11th. Very tight league down to about 15th.

Maybe being only 5 points ahead of 15th doesn't sit well with the chairman's investment.
