Ryback was in control right from the start yesterday and progresses to the knockout stages with 20 votes. Joining him in second place are joint runners up with 10 votes each sandow and slater who will go into the draw together and compete as part of a three way dance in their last 16 match up

went for Sheamus. Despite me not liking him as much as I used to, he's had a great 2012. Started with winning the Rumble, and then winning the world title at the grandest stage of them all in 18 seconds! , holding it for in excellent 6 month reign, with decent defences against Orton, Jericho, Ziggler and Del Rio, and finally losing it in a good match at HIAC against the Big Show.

As above went for Sheamus. Hes not my favorite star on the roster, but has been pushed to the sky and back this year and has worked very hard for it.

I went for the Miz, the guy oozes charisma and I am very glad that he is turning face. He has started the pick up his game in recent months after a bit of a blip from Elimination Chamber to MITB, where he was also filming the Marine 3. I'm sure he could be the next face of the WWE and has done good work with publicity like being on all of the chatshows in America before Wrestlemania 27

I love Angle and really wanted to vote for him but in the end it had to be Sheamus, I don't like him but he has had the better year.

Sheamus fantastic year including 2 matches worthy of match of the year against Daniel Bryan at extreme rules and big show at hell in the cell.

Between Sheamus n The Miz for me this one. Angle has looked a shadow of himself ever since I started watching TNA this summer, like a recovering alcoholic. Christian has done a lot of nothing this year, and he needs to either leave or be used as a veteran in a stable or tag team.

The Miz has been really intriguing. 12 months ago he headlined survivor series against the rock and cena. He won the multi man tag match for team Johnny at WM, and since his recent return i've enjoyed his ring work a lot more, and hes clearly a character they need.

Sheamus has had a really strong year in terms of timeline of events, although his title run has been a little flat. But he has been invested in as 2nd biggest face of the company, and his 2 out of 3 falls with Bryan is maybe my match of the year. Even the Big Show match last month was really good, and it goes to show how badly a feud with ADR can screw any momentum.

Really tough choice, but I think Sheamus deserves it

Had to go for Sheamus, not his biggest fan, but I cant overlook what has been a great year for him as others above have mentioned, the RR, winning the WHC at WM followed with a successful 6 month reign.

Would have loved to vote for any of the other 3 esp Christian. but frankly I didn't have a good enough reason too due to the great white's fantastic 2012.
