Does anyone have any idea as to what Michael Katsidis' ring walk song is called? Googled it but nothing really came up.

The musics fine, its just the rest of it that's dismal.

I'm with Tina, very poor film and I say this as someone who is not averse to a swords and sandals epic.

It's a terrible film. How anyone can make a bad film out of source material like The Illiad is beyond me.

Can't access those links - anyone willing to whistle the tune for me.

It scored 7.1 on IMDB. Has to be good.

I'm a sucker for an epic, and I loved some of the fight scenes in Troy. But, overall, it was a joke of a movie. Horrifically overacted. You'd expect it from Orlando Bloom, but Brad Pitt, who is normally good, goes way over the top with his 'olden times' voice. Eric Bana too. It's also got some of the worst continuity mistakes you'll ever see in a movie. If I remember correctly, there's a Boeing 747 flying over one of the ancient Greek battle scenes, and one of the swordsman has a rolex on!

But even then I would prefer it to Kingdom of Heaven, dear god that film goes on some. I remember when I tried to watch it, got about three hours in and thought this is going on a bit, looked on the menu thing only to be told there was another four days to endure. Awful.

Liked Kingdom of Heaven as well. Had hoped it would kick off a bit more than it did but never mind.

I reckon they need to make a modern British WWII movie in the same vane as Band of Bothers and Saving Private Ryan.
