Is it over for the Neanderthals?

So, the chiefs win SXV as I fail to predict with emphatic win over the Sharks, the most thoughtful and creative SA team who sweep aside the "Old School" SA strong teams of Bulls and Stormers.

But after they go behind, was some comedy to watch SA rugby players attempt to give up route one rugby and try to play more expansive. Despite best intents they are not programmed for this rugby. And their strong international pack were just impotent in the face of expansive creative intelligent and pacey combinator.

Is now some years since the Chiefs get wiped out by the Bulls playing the Old School kick and chase and mauling and cause the penalty on counter attack and NZ have found a way to be too creative for this style, along with timely rule changing. Is some kind of book end that the chiefs go down to this style, and now come back and smash it in similar styling.

Now NZ and Wales look like the teams to beat in both hemisphere, and guess what? They both play "total rugby" and not the negative cynical style that typify the early and mid 2000's.

Can SA adapting under Meyer for the new way? (Old Wales will say "old way" our "our way" or NZ will say "rugby") or will SA become the England of the Southern Hemisphere?

This 'hacking' must explain how your grasp of English is rather, shall we say, inconsistent. It might also explain how you sometimes come over all New Zealander.

AWOP one could of course point out that the Sharks played very well in dodgy conditions until fatigue caught up with them.That earlier in the Season the Neaderthals of the Bulls,Stormers and even the Lions beat them.Also before the pretty boys of New Zealand can play total rugby. The Crusaders Neanderthals,Franks brothers,SamWhitelock,Romano,Read,McCaw and co have to win the ball for them.The Chiefs won Super15 by winning more matchs than Crusaders /Sharks with both home advantage and the rest/travel factor removed.The Crusaders knockers may ponder the point that the Crusaders Pack is The AllBlacks pack.That there expertise in the set piece and breakdown area creates the space for the pretty boys to run.WHEN the set piece etc did`nt function as 2009 they get hammered.DON`t start trying to windup the Boks or write them off on the strength of Super15 form any more than Australia.BECAUSE in truth at the top level there is little between them,Refs/TMO`s decisions and Goal kicking likely to be the deciding factors.

I so often wish the Wallabies could play physical or even a wee bit dirty to fit in with the other big sides, but one I don't really think it's in the players' nature, Harrisons I think was the last Wallaby I could think of in the mode of say Grewcock or some other locks, and two, we just don't have an enforcer since the days of Mr Nobody.
