I think they will, plenty of money available and they will want to both have haye's name on their records.

Vitali's a totally different fighter to Wladimir, will actually give an opportunity to counter and will want to fight with real aggression, not just keep him on the end of a jab, Vitali's also slower and less mobile and not the fighter he once was, I think Haye has a genuine chance against Vitali.

Exactly, that's my thinking he has a much better chance. Vitali has looked pretty ordinary in his last few fights, just whether he'll want anything to do with him, or rather his management.

THis fight was actually huge in Germany apparently, a lot of people in Germany want to see Vitali take on Haye.

Vitali's party is only 3rd largest in Ukraine, although the polls show they are up 15% the party was only formed 2 years ago. Boxing will only get you so far in politics, people may decide to play safe with votes.

Vitali would never refuse a chance to fight a contender like Wladimir does. I wish Haye v Fury would happen though.

What the hell? When has wlad denied a contender apart from Holyfield who would leave permanently crippled.

I think haye needs pinklon first. Him or Witherspoon.

You're confusing dignity for financial acuity. Fighting Manuel Charr isn't a sign of dignity, it's a sign that Vitali is happy to fight any old bum so long as 50,000 German or Swiss bankers will fill a stadium to clap politely as he does so. If he thinks the reward is worth the risk, he'll fight Haye, it's that simple. Politics will wait.

Styles make fights, Vitali would just back off and catch him with the one two combos all night, as soon as Haye gets close Vitali wressles him to the floor, Vit doesn't go looking for a fight the way people make out. Haye was pretty sloppy despite the result and Chisora wobbled him yet can't bang that hard for a heavyweight.

Haye would gang bang Vitali. The old man is too slow, plodding footwork and relies on his toughness which will go as soon as Haye clocks him. Timberrrrr (or whatever they say in Ukraine).

Vitali is no ducker, if Haye is reasonable in his demands i think the fight will be made. Don't see how Haye can win though, he just doesn't throw against big guys.

Dave has beaten a very competitive Heavy weight and I think he has staked his claim as the best Heavyweight bar the two Ks.

He was soundly beaten by WK but I do not think he was as bad as some made out and given some of the fighters WK has given a rematch with then Haye more than merits one.

I think Haye would beat VK, but VK will not fight Haye because he will not want another L before he retires.

The bottom line is, we all know that Haye is the only guy out there who can give the Ks something to worry about, and they know it as well, so they should cut all the excuses and mind games and get the fights sorted. All it does it show that the Ks are being too selective in a very spas Heavyweight Era.

I think Price is the real deal, but not ready yet, and the Ks should not be going after guys who have barley even tasted life at Euro level and lack experience.

The bottom line is for both Ks, the only fight out there for them is Haye at the moment.

The fight went the way I expected it to go. Only difference was that Haye was able to force the stoppage earlier than predicted. Chisora's wide looping punches ended up playing straight into Haye's hands as it gave Haye ample opportunities to counter with his heavy hooks.

Good performance from Haye and the KO came at the right time as the next 5 rounds could have probably got more difficult for him.

A fight with Vitali is possible. He's 41 and will retire if he wins the election in October. Therefore, a fight will have to be made before that. Charr will likely get paid off to step aside so that might not be a barrier.

Against Vitali, Haye isn't going land anyway near as frequently and also I doubt he'd fancy a shoot-out with the bigger man, which is something he was happy to do against a smaller, lighter puncher in Chisora.

I think the fight will be another anti-climax. Vitali will be wary of Haye's power and will fight more cautiously than usual while Haye won't be willing to take the kind of risks he took yesterday.

A 12 round snooze-fest is the most likely outcome.

Wlad fought Haye last year remember? And beat him fairly comfortably.
Haye retired afterwards and only went back on his promise when another lucrative fight became available.

Haye beats Ruiz and Valuev and is the best thing since sliced bread. He loses to Wlad and becomes ordinary and over-rated. Beats Chisora and becomes awesome again...........re-matches Wlad/Vitali and looks ordinary again......beats Fury and is unstoppable again........etc....etc...

Haye is better than Vitali and will KO him.

I agree that boxing fans are fickle and change their opinions at the drop of a hat. I'll repeat, Haye will never beat Wlad, but will beat Vitali. Wlad is just too good a boxer but Vitali is simple a slow plodding old man ready for the taking.

I wasn't referring to posters like you. I respect your views as you stick by your words and will always give a fighter credit if he proves you wrong.

I think Haye has a better chance against Vitali than Wlad, but is still the underdog. Styles make fights. Chisora is similar to Ruiz and Barrett. Vitali's similar to Valuev and Wlad. HW's against SHW's.

I almost want to believe in Haye again... but once bitten twice shy. Think the klits are just too big for Haye and nobody knows this better than the man himself, henceh is defensive performance against Vlad. See a possible Vitali bout going the same way even if Vitali now is not as good as his brother now that age has caught up with him.

Yeah, but he's slowed down enough for you to think he's now a lot more beatable. The version of Vitali that beat Sanders would have beaten Haye while the version of Wlad that lost to Sanders would have probably lost to Haye. Timing is everything in boxing.

I said this early last year and I got attacked by everyone. Wlad is a superb boxer. Vitali i snot. He made his name in the Lewis fight and that upper cut. I have always believed that a quick, elusive boxer with a punch can beat Vitali. He doesn't control range as well as Wlad and leaves his chin high up when attacking.

A young Vitali beats a prime Haye. No debate necessary.

Haye has been decked by a fat SMW. Dropped too many times to count. Even he says he is vulnerable.

Not fat, you take flush shots from big guys that can hit hard and you don't see the punch coming, you're probably gonna go down, David doesn't have a great chin, but I think it's pretty decent, he's definitely not made of glass. Price's is still untested really, but of course, like everyone, he can be rocked.

He bulked up. A few fights later he was campaigning at SMW. A big CW should not be getting decked by a blown up SMW.
