European championships

Anyone know where i can find a finalised list of those competing for GB at these champs. I saw a list prior to the british champs but it was just a prelimanary team i think. Cheers.

Doesnt matter one was just put up on bbc.

Watching Harry AA in the 100m heats i think he could well get an olympic A standard in the semi finals given the right conditions. Ran a SB 10.27(+0.4), and to me only looked to be at about 95%. A tailwind of over +1.5 and running all out i think he could go below 10.18. If so what do you think that means in terms of the olympics? How fast do you think he would have to go to clinch that 3rd spot?

That track in Helsinki really isn't being kind to the 200m runners, is it?

No it isnt and i cant seem to get my head around what the issue is. Is the bend to curved?

Too sharp apparently. Runners complained it's like running round corners.

400m events also affected.

Bad weather hasn't helped either.

Overall slightly depressing from a Brits perspective. I know lots of the team were missing but far too many individual sub-par performances.

I think the disqualification of the womens 4x1 team summed it up. I have to admit I didnt watch any of it live but watching it back now the bends do look incredibly tight and I can understand why our runner was caught out. I wonder if any other athlete came that close to the line?
