The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Béal Feirste
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made it's way to Belfast - the rope-making and ship building capital of the world.
Now the Mouth of the Shoal awaits the safe arrival of one of it's long lost daughter's - Cariadwr - in her ongoing quest to be as close as possible to one of her favourite players... Tomás Ó Buaigh of Emyvale.... on her Birthday
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Nial O'Connor, Cari & Tommy Bowe, "Pickles" the wonder dog of '66, Wikus van de Merwe and Black Caviar above the bar.

Afternoon, and hello new pub.
In the 'Wasps Nest' in Marylebone, and the guvnor has put ob a rerun of the battle of Stade Aime Giral - HC 2004. Perpignan v Wasps. Something like 12 citings after the game, 7 of which were upheld.
Forgot that Mick O'Driscoll played for Perpignan.

Thanks Breaker! This is a nice little bar isn't it...a bit ropey in places I didn't know Belfast was renowned for rope as well as shipping. So it's an educational pub too!

So You Think
It's your heavy turf she's not used to. Had to grit her teeth at the end there.
Personally, I think it's too much to fly a horse to the other side of the world and expect it to perform like at home.

That was the most shockingly atrrogant piece of race riding I have ever seen. Ig I were BC's owner I would sack Luke Nolan - if only for giving her connections near heart failure

I am more shocked by that than almost anything in sport I have seen for many a long day. The French were out to get her, felt they had the measure of her. Nolan is soooo lucky.

Alright all? Having a lovely time in Tenerife. Giving the bar some Welly today after reading about Wales. Could be worse of course, but 1 blydi point is a choker.
Should be a good night here with Spain on tonight. Germany were very good yesterday.
Was delighted to read about the Welsh youngsters too.

Looking forward to the football tonight, Euro 2012 has been very good so far. Hope Italy can make the final, as we fly out to Tuscany next Saturday. It would be great to watch the Final in a bar with the locals

Yeah that would be good Penfro. Well I'll secretly support Italy then. Met a few decent English football supporters though, so I am torn.

Dubs are struggling in the hurling. They've lost their captain Conal Keaney to injury and they're down 2-07 to 0-04 It's another long match...

Congrats to my English mates, you were the better team today and really should have won that match, it was dejavu all over again for me as Sa has no idea what to do with a rugby ball without Frans Steyn.
When I look at lacklustre performance like that I want to run out in the street and look for trouble.

Cheers Biltong, I was bemoaning Lancaster's lack of focus on stopping SA at the gainline last week, it seems like the penny dropped today. The defence got right up there and there were a lot of double-team tackles going in and they basically just manned-up.
Not much going on with ball in hand though, so a good attack coach is a must for the future.
I'm still not happy, there has been the odd positive element to the tour but on the whole it's still a C- grade on the report card.

Biltong, I really felt England could have won the game with a bit more composure - + plus not kicking possession away (Farrell).
Mind you, you probably feel the same way.

I was wondering if he would EVER pass the ball. Twould have been ok if he had been kicking well but he wasn't (except for one or two). But well done England.
Got to ask though why, when Morne Steyn had obviously left his kicking boots at home, when he came on why wasn't Pienaar asked to kick?
