Todays Internationals Empty Re: Todays Internationals

Is it me or was the Exiles game very..........flat?(Watched on TV). Not sure if it was the team changes, lack of atmosphere or shocking weather. Pleased England got the win although they struggled in the last 20.

Agree with thoughts on Ablett selection, to be fair I thought he played reasonably well. I would have still liked to see Cudjoe play however.

Personally for the next game I would like to see Tom Briscoe for Charnley. I like Sinfield but do not see him as an international stand off (but would play him at LF), a genuine stand off please.....Lomax? ideally partnered by Brough.

Any thoughts, I am talking total tosh?.

Best wishes to Leuluai, nasty looking injury, sympathy to him and Warriors fans.

I think Charnley deserves to keep his place Briscoe isn't playing that well . I would bring Cudjoe or Goulding in for Ablett , Cudjoe is playing well and Goulding and Charnley have a good understanding together.

If Tickle plays then id drop Sinfield to the bench , Brough and maybe Maguire if hes fit would be my choice at halfs .

I think that the reason it was flat, other than the reasons you said, is that it's hard to look at this game as anything other than a glorified international friendly.

I would expect Reed to be playing center in the wc, so really we should be using these games to try other people, Cudjoe would be my choice. Brough is the form player so should be included at scrum half, and although i'm biased i think Craig Hall should be stand off (again form player, who has been brilliant at stand off this season). The Charnley/Briscoe debate is either or in my opinion, Charnley's the better finnisher, Briscoe's better at defence. Personally would play Briscoe next game, Drop Tickle move O'Loughlin to SR, and play Sinfield at LF.

I agree we should be trying a few players out in these games , the NRL based players are bound to come straight into the side once the WC comes round
