Favourite Simpsons Character

There are so many to choose from but who's your favourite.

Although i like Homer, my favourite is Duff Man.
His macho image, with his cans of beer in his utility belt!

I think John in "homers phobia"(Best episode ever) is really funny as are all the gays in the Simpsons.My favourite character is apu with comments like "Hello mrs.Homer" to marge.

No love for Itchy & Scratchy?

...or Waylan Smithers?

I'm appalled!


Of the more regular characters, I'd have to go with Sideshow Bob, Apu Nahasapeema...oh I give up and C. Montgomery Burns.

My fave episode has already been mentioned (Homer's Phobia) which is outstanding.

Last Exit to Springfield is brilliant too and I have to admit that I have done Homers running around on the fllor once or twice at 10 pin bowling after a few drinks!

IMO the best is the Mary Poppins spoof (Sherry Bobbins) - closely followed by the Tree house of Horrors short where Homer falls into a 3D universe

I think my favourite line recently was the episode where Fat Tony dies.

Fat Tony - "No-one of my other guys understand me like you do Homer"

Homer - "That's because they are FBI informants"

Just classic.

Homer is my favourite character.

Hmm. Favourite episodes. Can't remember any names, but most of the Treehouse of Horror ones were pretty good. Other than that:

- The one where Homer buys a SUV
- The one where Lisa grows an entire civilisation in a science experiment
- The one where Marge becomes a real estate agent
- The one where they smuggle pharmaceuticals from Canada
- The one where Homer predicts The Rapture

Favourite scene:

Bart playing a game machine in a ski resort, machine is a mountain rescuer and asks who should help someone in distress, options are labelled "You" or "Me".

Bart selects "Me" (meaning the mountain rescuer)

Machine replies "You selected 'me' meaning 'you', that is incorrect, the answer is 'you' meaning 'me'!

Hans Moleman, just for the football in the groin scene! That's one of my favourite episodes, it must be said.

There are some classic Moleman quotes alright..

I guess the variety of answers just goes to show how well written the Simpsons has been over the years (though I haven't seen a new episode for a few years), no other show has anywhere near as many well developed distinctive characters.

My personal favourite character is Moe, but any episode where Homer, Patty and Selma argue will always have me in stitches.

Mine are Krusty and Fat Tony, there are always in good episodes.

Dont really watch it anymore, dont like the new ones.

Favorite ones are probably Clown College and the one were Krusty fakes his own death.

It could be the end for the show.

Its got to be ralph or kang and kodos, quite like Nick riviera and his "hi, everybody!"
