Q+A with Mat and Beer

With the announcement of the new creative team, here's your chance to ask some questions to us about how this is going to work, thought it'd be easier than doing everything through PM's because my inbox might exlode otherwise.

So fire away, and the Leader of Men(Me) and executive vice president of talent relations and booking aka my bitch(Beer) will answer them to the best of our abilities.

Just to make a few points and make people aware of a few changes, Lockdown is now moving to Friday's....

As for other things, just to avoid these questions....

1) I'm not gonna be World Champion next week. I will be taking a step back from the Main Event scene to concentrate on helping Mat, the same way he, Crimey and JJ all did.

2) Nobody is getting buried.

3) My PM door is always open!

I really like switching Lockdown to Fridays. It makes much more sense.

I was higher on the card at NOG than you, so yeah.

We hope people will prefer it. It gives us more shows, but also gives us a chance to put together a decent show after a PPV and give people time to promo.

We also have 4 Lockdowns prior to the big PPV's, Destiny (Gold Rush) and Born In Fire, so we can really put some build up into those.

With the Trashies up there i was hoping you might be interested in scouting writers again?

I think I'll step away from the Trashies this year. Let someone else have a go.

Thanks a lot for all the time and effort that you guys put into 6WF the shows must be an incredible amount of time and effort. One more time NOG was outstanding. Looking forward to staying in 6WF for a long time after my disapearance soon after the switch to 606v2

In all seriousness. Everything that comes to me, will be discussed with Mat. We've been working together over the last 5-6 weeks and everything we've done seems to have gone down well.

We've already got some seriously big things planned so hopefully people will trust us enough to see that this year is gonna be massive for 6WF.

Erm, no, not really. I guess it comes down to you and where you wanna go. You seem to enjoy this Clarissa angle, but without any sort of interaction with others it's difficult to know where you want to go. My best suggestion would be think about exactly what you want to acheive or where you wanna be and PM me and we can come up with something that's gonna maintain your enjoyment and also help you get where you wanna go. You're a solid promoer, and you've taken some harsh criticism on board and gone about your business really well, so no, you've not 'dropped the ball' in any way!

Hey I hear a viscious rumour going around that 6WF might be struggling financially and to make ends meet they are taking a leaf out of WWE's book and are soon to announce some "future endeavours". Is there any truth in this and if so who is getting future endeavoured?

As i've said to you before, and many others have, your biggest problem is promoing. You're a solid member of the roster. We've got places we can fit you in and potential storylines, but by the same token, we need some commitment. I appreciate you have school, WWA, Fantasy Leagues and stuff, and thats fine, it's why i don't get on your back. But if you really wanna be world champ and make an impact you'll need to step up. Mat manages school around writing shows and PPV's. Everyone else has jobs and gets stuff up.

I guess the bottom line is mate, what do you want to be in line for Scorpion now and what are you gonna do to get there?

1) Which characters do you find hardest writing segments for?

2) Which characters do you find hardest to imagine and therefore hardest to write matches for?

2)Tough one. The Dragon is certainly interesting, he is 350lbs in his bio but freeweight champion and doing high-flying moves! Not hard to write for, but I can't imagine what a 6"5, 350lbs Japanese high-flyer looks like!

As Blade writes a lot of matches as well I'd be interested in his view on the second question as well

I doubt very much that Shutdown is returning. I'm not taking over the writing of shows etc, mainly creative and segment work. But never say never.

As for the TAW Title, i don't know. The top level of 6WF is a little light and i think it would perhaps dilute what is a strong, albeit 'light' main event scene. But, who knows.

right, since it has been 1 month since you took over, have any major storylines changed since you planned them?

Yes.

can you give us any plans you discarded?

Not really. Most of the creative decisions are private and those involved generally contact Mat and myself to air greivances.

Off the top of my head, 3 major changes have taken place. They aren't always planned but we do whats best for the fed. If something isn't working, we change it. We want you guys to constantly enjoy it.

Seeing as a month has passed, i'd be interested to get peoples feedback on our first month in charge and if theres anything you'd like to see?
