Boxing wishes

Inspired by Hero's comments on another thread.

If you had 3 boxing related wishes what would they be?

Can be anything as long as it is boxing related.

1. That somebody would find the missing ' Greb v Walker ' footage.

2. That fighters would have the desire, and that circumstances would permit them, to unify titles.

3. That one or both of the Klitschkos no longer holds a title.

1. Roberto Duran
2. No WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO
3. No junior divisions below lightweight

1/ That Peter Jackson was given his rightful "props"

2/ That being the HW CHampion of the World once again became the most prestigious accolade in all sport.

3/ That you'd shut the **** up about Floyd and Manny

Really number 3 on both of the last two posts.

1 - Only one governing body.

2 - Return to the classic eight divisions, with the possible addition of cruier and cruiser only

3 - That Charley Burley had been given the world title shots he deserved

1. To be made head of the only sanctioning body.
2. Pass.
3. Pass.

1. 1 belt / ranking system per division (and thus 1 overruling governing body)
2. Reduction of weight divisions from 1000000 to 13 or so
3. More transparent judging / referring system

2. More WBA world titles at each weight.

I think there is a definite market for more WBA titles. Perhaps they can start dishing them out by height as well as weight, that's at least another 25 titles from Calderon to Valuev to hand out, plus interims, super champs etc for each one. Would be interesting to see fighters cutting height to make the pre-day measurement though...

I see you subscribe to the benefits of modern nutrition also.

Curry moved up to fight Hagler and in my opinion win by decision instead of becoming a shell and losing his crown.....

Hagler had come out of his corner against Leonard..the same way he came out against Hearns....

8 weight divisions would be tantamount to condoning legalised murder as boxers boil down to make weight of fight someone with a massive weight disparity.

That brave guys like Johnny Owen, Luther mccarthy, Duk koo kim. Benny Paret , Billy Collins etc lives weren't undeservedly taken by our cruel sport.....unravelling the tragic waste of life and much family despair and bereavement their deaths caused the ones they left behind.

Also that their ultimate sacrifices to the sport always be remembered..

1.) A quick go on Carl Froch' (gagged) missus.

I assume he meant highly sexed as in horny as a room of rabid goats?

Surely highly sexed means highly used

It's my wish and therefore, it means she's highly sexually charged (and also convenienty oblivious to my many flaws)....as mentioned by Sam (although hopefully she smells better)

Actually number 1 should have been

1.) Edwin Valero's missus hadn't forgotten to cook dinner

2. That Sam Langford and Charlie Burley, among others, had been given a chance to fight for a title.

And lastly,

3. That one body takes control of boxing and all belts are binned leaving only The Ring belt or the likes.
