Rovers were good tonight Micheal Dobson was head and shoulders the best player on the park .

No Superleague games this weekend as its the 1st England v Exiles game

We are so desperate here in NSW... they think if everyone wears blue... we will win. I hope so... but it will take a lot more.
Very wet here last 2 days but meant to be clearing up today.

Haven't heard much about the Exiles game - is it similar to SOO or more England v The Rest?

Maybe they should have an east v west (northern counties) or is that been tried before? War of the Roses again?

England v Exiles was a decent game last year Exiles have a good team again this year its on saturday 17.30 skysports the teams have been posted in the rugby leage thread .

Yes we were robbed 10 - 6 up with 5 minutes to play Greenshield scores in the corner when he lost control of the ball , its a split second before its grounded but the replay clearly showed distance between his fingers and the ball .

Shocks with the top 2 losing , Rovers gave Saints to much of a lead trailing 26 - 6 but came back to be leading 26 - 28 only to run out of steam at the end .

Widnes off the bottom, but how poor were Castleford, no fight or enthuisim.

I havent seen the Widnes game but cant imagine Castleford were as bad as Warrington on friday! That is definitely a game to forget

Cas were poor lastnight , Didnt understand why Smith rested players against Salford or why Wane did the same for Wigan against Bradford ?

The conspiracy theorist in me started to believe Wigan gave the 2 points to Bradford and Warrington agreed not to close the gap

I see Wolves v Leeds... should be a good one. I was lucky enough to be there (old Wembley) in 1990... Wigan bt Warrington that day.

It should be a good final , they played against each other in the final a couple of years back and that was a decent game .

Im going to go out on a limb and say a Leeds Rhinos win

I saw both semis this afternoon. That Rhinos-Wigan game was superb! Warrington were just too strong for the Giants.... and I think you're right Kenny... the Rhino's are on a bit of a roll.

I just think in a one of game there isn't a better team then Leeds , they have that winning mentality

I thought the Catalans were a bit unlucky last night with some of the calls.
Another disappointing crowd at the Salford Rugby League stadium. I know that Widnes doesn't have the strongest of followings away from home, but what about the locals supporting the reds.

By the sounds of it another easy win for Wigan.

Whenever I went to the willows George there was never the Biggish
Support for Salford,though it dosn't help having Manchester
United on the doorstep, and there ridicules idea of playing Friday
nights might also be keeping some fans away.

To be honest tigerrobins i don't why they don't switch to Saturday afternoons when the soccer season is not on.

I think Sale play on Saturdays, so I presume that will stop them from now on. To be honest
I don't think anyone but the sky game should be played on Friday, this may certainly help
with regards away support.,

Good win for Wakefield who were losing 14-6, before scoring 29 unanswered points against
a free falling Huddersfield side. Warrington apparently survived a bit of a comeback by Cas.
One game left, and its the big one the Hull derby, with both teams having already won one
each. So it's the decider for local bragging rights, COME ON ROVERS.

I had a very disturbing talk yesterday with a few of the Rovers guys , it really had me wondering were we are going .
Basically the thought is Bradford will be deducted 6 maybe 8 points so it is felt Rovers only need one more win to make the play offs and that last nights game was not the game they were targeting to win !!!!!

I was left feeling very disappointed and cant understand the thinking to be honest , dont get me wrong i dont think they went out last night not bothered and not wanting to win but i did get the impression that the their eye wasnt on the game in hand rather on a game in a couple of weeks .

I know what you mean, I've hard this feeling that we've been targeting certain games alto this season. And if we wn some of the others than that's an added bonus. To be honest I not sure wether we deserve to be in the play offs this season with how we've played this season, and maybe we need to miss out to and refocus the attitude of the club, rather than make it and just be happy with that.
As for Bradford, A) the way they've played this season it can be agrued that they deserve it, or even if they are deducted the points that they could just as easy win them back. Though I am getting worried that the longer it's left, the less likely they're getting deducted the amount of points everyone thinks they should be.

I know what you meen , we have looked poor in games this year but i also think we have been unlucky in some aswell . The worry for me is we dont start games until about 20 minutes in then we are usually 16 - 24 points down .
Bradfords on field performance deserves a play off place but the off field problems dont . The RFL set a president with Wakey and Crusaders so they must dock Bradford at least 6 points or both the other clubs could take action against the RFL .

All in All its a farce that it hasn't been dealt with yet . How the RFL can let any potential buyer dictate that the team must be in Superleague and that the have to be able to buy the ground back for one tenth of what was paid for it is incredible .
