Jones over Cole?

Cole has been England player of the tournament...immense in the scrums and like an extra flanker in the loose.

And Fofana isnt fit to lace Roberts boots at 12....

The only one I don't agree with is POC and that's because he's missed games through injury.

Twould be Ian Evans in the starting team for me, POC on the bench instead.

Actually I'd also have Jenkins over Healy ont he bench too.

I'd move Bowe to 11, North to the bench. It's hard to pick between Kearney and Halfpenny. Evans or Pape in for POC. Probably find room on the bench for Szarzewski too. Otherwise unchanged.

1. Jenkins Beats Corbs by a nose,
2. Best no real opposition,
3. Cole Englands most important player,
4. Gray monster
5. Evans, just offered more than Pape/Hamilton,
6. Lydiate, took control after warbs went off, that beats Ferris.
7. Rennie, Warbs played a bit too little rugby.
8. Parisse, just too constant, Denton very unlucky, Falatau/ Morgan = wow
9. Phillips by pure default
10. Farell cool head that was the cornerstone of Englands perf.
11. Bowe, excellent until last game!
12. Roberts solid performer, Fofana too inconsistent
13. JD2 no real competition
14. Cuthbert had 1 quiet game but got stronger throughout
15. Kearney 1/2ps kicking doesnt hide his inability under a bomb!

This was my best player in each position, it would certainly not be my lions side, most brit ire players in here wouldn't start in my first test.

I gong to pick two teams as in most positions there's not a clear cut winner.

I really must have missed all the good stuff that Fofana did (I didn't see all the French games)
In the ones I saw, he looked either average or out of position in the centre.

When he played on the wing against Wales, he was ok, but a bit quiet... and then went to centre again


I'd have Barritt ahead of him for his tackling ability alone.
But the best IC of the tournament must probably be Roberts.
