I didn't know this until a few minutes ago, but he is named after Krating Daeng, which is the Thai version of Red Bull.

I am disappointed there is no footage of the John Cut Siregar fight. By all accounts it was Bangkok's fight of the year in 2008.

You sure he's not named after the gym he fights out of rather than the drink? Boxers from Thailand often use their 1st name & then that of their gym or sponsor such as Dutchboygym & 3K Battery amongst others, in place of their family name.

Obviously his current gym. If you get a list up of boxers from Thailand You'll probably find close to half have a surname ending in gym. Something I read years ago in a magazine, Boxing Monthly?, when somebody questioned their odd/similar surnames.
