Not pleased with Banahan or Armitage being involved. I know what Banahan brings (or doesn't bring), why play him in an A game. I'd much rather 3 decent players stand up v Wolfhounds than see a side with Banahan, Armitage etc play a part in a dull win.

Also what has happened to Joseph and Gibson? Are they still in the Saxons for the summer?

Gibson is injured
JJ has only just come back so not being included this week

they will be back in it once fully fit.

Good. Lovely try from JJ on Sunday. Although he did look like he was running through sand getting there.

How long is Gibson out for?

yeh he is a long way from match fit. probably play another half hour this weekend and hopefully be near fully fit for the AP game at Quins.

Gibson is a few weeks I think. Tagicakibau back this weekend which is great news.

Im not sure why Hodgson is involved with the Saxons either - is it a case of just getting some players with a bit of experience in to help the youngsters?

Hodgsons selection must be down to experience and helping out the younger heads as there isnt a scrum half playing worse than him this season!
although to be fair he hasnt played a lot, but when he has he has been awful.

his passing seems to have slowed right down, which was always one of his strong points.

starting to think that Dickson could well be playing himself into the starting shirt for England at the moment. REally want Youngs to pick up his form again, perhaps he will be better away from the Leicester environment for a while. Simpson had a good game this weekend, but not enough to push for a starting spot.
