Aviva 'A' team cup

16 team competion the 4 irish provinces being entered into the first round
The cup is mainly aimed at people fielding an 'A' team which must contain 5 players under 23 aswell as 10 EQ players in the match day squad.
The tournament will run in the following format
Last 16
Last 8 : Cup
Last 8 : Plater
Semi final: Cup
Semi Final: Plate
Final:Cup
Final: Plate
A few tweaks to how teams have to be submitted aswell to gauge opinions for next season.
Tactics to be done in bullet point format and have 10 bullet points at max
Teams in for wednesday at 7pm , tactics by 11am Thursdays , banter ceases at 11pm Thursday.
The first round draw is up
Bath vs Ulster Ravens
Exeter Chiefs vs Worcester Warriors
Munster vs Saracens
Sale Sharks vs Connacht
Leicester vs London Wasps

Leinster vs Newcastle Falcons

I'd be interested. Am I right in assuming that any player who plays in these games can't play in the league games and that this won't count as player fatigue.

Sounds good to me - is it worth doing the games on say a Monday? That way not overload with tactics and games on a Thursday?

Looks like I'm in the semi finals already then lads...will tkae the byes from Nick, Mat and Pete...does that actually put me in the final?

I am interested as I would like som feedback on fringe players to see how they would do in a league match. eg Gibson, Wallace, Vernon, Vickers etc
