Songs that would make a good theme
What it says on the tin, basically. Which songs would make a good entrance theme for a wrestler? I've always thought that Club Foot by Kasabian would be a pretty good one.

Re: Songs that would make a good theme
I have three where if I was a wrestler I'd have as my theme song
Atreyu - the remembrance ballad
Feeder - just a day
Red jumpsuit apparatus - face down
3 of my favourite songs as well

Lol good one
I was thinking about my Supermassive Black Hole suggestion. I was listening to it in the car going home last night and I just pictured an arena being pitch black with a search light going through the crowd. Then as the chrous hits, the searchlight shines on Ziggler in cocky heel mode (dark glasses, smug grin, the works) and the pyros go off. Then it returns to pitch black but the aisle is lit up with white streaks as he walks down it......
I was stuck in traffic by the way.
Or, with the connection to the Black Hole Slam, give it to Abyss. Probably look more like the Broods entrance if he used it though.

Re: Songs that would make a good theme
They would have to edit out the bad language but:
2 Pac - Ambitionz Az A Ridah
Fat Joe ft M.O.P + Petey Pablo - Fight Club
DMX - Ima Bang
And although it may sound a little corny, LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out would be a good one...

The obvious one would be Full Nelson by Limp Bizkit...
For me though Meet the Monster by Five Finger Death Punch would make a cracking theme for a monster heel

Hysteria - Muse
The opening chords would be awesome with lights going around the arena.

Always thought Killing in the Name Of was the most obvious choice for a wrestler to use especially anyone who's anti-establishment

Anything by Hatebreed...especially Everyone Bleeds Now, Defeatist, Destroy Everything or Live For This.
Five Finger Death Punch - Way of the Fist. (Again pretty much any of their heavy stuff would be pretty good!)

Re: Songs that would make a good theme
Still Unbroken by Lynyrd Skynyrd
Ever since I first heard it, I've thought it would be an excellent theme song for James Storm (even more so, given his recent clobbering).
Others that spring to mind are:
Bombtrack - Rage Against the Machine
Gimme the Prize - Queen
The Sound of Madness - Shinedown
Rollin' - Limp Bizkit
Iron Man - Black Sabbath
Get In The Ring - Guns 'n' Roses ( I mean, come on! )
Enter Sandman - Metallica
Walk - Pantera

Undertaker used Rollin when he was the American Badass. RVD used Pantera in the old ECW.
Brock Lesnar comes out to Enter Sandman in UFC aswell.

Re: Songs that would make a good theme
Why are people just naming songs? Surely if you name a song you must have a wrestler in mind? The generic rock songs of the past 10 years have been awful. The best entrances are when the music fights the character... No?

Re: Songs that would make a good theme
I really didn't have anyone in mind, I just thought it would look and sound pretty cool if there's nothing much going on during the keyboard bit, then the guitar kicks in, pyro goes off and the wrestler comes out

Good to see another 5FDP fan on here! Burn It Down would be pretty epic too.
F*ck1ng Hostile by Pantera would be another good one...probably for an intense heel type though..
And for a happy goody-goody face...Thunderstruck by AC/DC!
And after seeing them at Wembley Arena for the 3rd time, Bulldozer, Davidian or The Blood, The Sweat, The Tears by Machine Head. The latter would be good for James Storm... (The Tears is often swapped for the Beers at the live gigs)

Said it before but Crazy Horses by the Osmonds should totally be remade into a Randy Orton entrance theme.

Re: Songs that would make a good theme
I always would have entered to Remember The Name by Fort Minor, one of my favourites.
99 Problems by Jay Z is another I like along with any other song that would fire me up.
If all else fails the James Bond theme would do me, could even have a neat entrance video to go with it.

Well, if you want to put names to the music, how about Korn's Freak On A Leash for Abyss?
Crimson makes me think of Motorhead's Ace of Spades, due to those German crosses on his trunks. Or something by King Crimson.
Guns 'n' Roses Welcome to the Jungle would suit someone like Chris Daniels or Austin Aries. Fantastic intro too!
Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil would've been good for someone like Sting during his nWo Wolfpac days.
