spain beaten by england and possibly costa rica(2 nil down at presnt)!!!!

holland crushed by germany!! and lost there last group game

not sure if germany can get to no.1 - but give it a few months they could be.

Not sure if we can keep saying that spain dont turn up in friendlies-I DONT BUY IT! its not looking good for them at all- something surely must change, otherwise its 100% germany going in as favourites.

Spain don't try a leg in friendlies, wait and see how they react to proper games, that said they aren't a team I like watching anyway, the Dutch and Germans are far more entertaining

the gaffer easy to say - yet i dont buy it. losing isnt good- easy to say blh blah its a friendly- losing is contagious. they won all there qualy games- but the opposition wasnt good. there have lost to every decent team they have played since the world cup! not one scalp-

just noticed they came back from 2-0 down to draw in costa rica.

not sire how good costa rica are- however spain obviously turned on abit of magic at the end. maybe it was more to do with costa rica not being able to hold out long enough- spainish teams today are by far the most skillfull we have every seen , however how good are they against good defences. theyu need so many opportunities for the golas they get(offcourse it helps when you average the possesion they average). Anyway a skillfull side can sometimes get the run of the refs decisions and other times they dont. we saw barca v chelsea and spain v holland- almost crimanlly bad reffing in both which benefited the spainish outfits.

i think spain have gone mental trying to play perfect football! it cant be acheived - sometimes you got to ride your luck and just take a shot !!
