Foreign Transfers - Page 2 Empty Foreign Transfers

Post by Guest Tue 11 Oct 2011, 5:20 pm

First topic message reminder :

Foreign transfers will open during the following weeks:

Weeks 1 & 2 - Open
Week 3 - Closed
Week 4 - Open
Week 5 - Closed
Week 6 - Open
Week 7 - Closed
Weeks 8 & 9 - Open
Week 10 - Closed
Week 11 - Open
Week 12 - Closed

It is possible to purchase foreign wrestlers for your roster. This INCLUDES all Legends.
A maximum of 2 bids per day is permitted.
The WWA board of directors will assess the bids made and make a decision.
The responses will be:
Yes
Negotiate (more money needed)
No

If the response is no, this will be down to whoever is on your roster and whether they will actually work with your current wrestlers. So choose wisely.
If 2 or more rosters are bidding for the same Legend on the same day, the first person bidding first will get preference if they match or increase their bid depending on other bids.
You can edit an existing bid as many times as required during a day. Rather than edit an existing post, please repost your revised bid.
Cut off time for bids is 4.30pm on that day.
However, if there are any bids for a wrestler between 3.30pm and 4.30pm that have already been bid for, the transfer window for that wrestler will be extended until 5.30pm to give the first bidder a chance to re-bid. Responses should be up by 6pm on the same day.
The responses will expire at midnight on that day. If you fail to negotiate or confirm, the wrestler is available again to be bid for the next day.

Please submit bids in the following format:

Association Name:
Wrestler:
Bid:
Reason:

Raven - Bid 12 Million, Raven would act as an Mid Carder, is roles would be to help get younger talent over more and to see if they can put on a decent enough match to see if the fans are intrested. He could work single feuds and work in hardcore matches to get there fans intrested in match and storylines. He could also act as a tag team wreslter, with him being a veteran of the business, a younger talant could learn so much and be able to tag with him. Will also help out the tag-team division.

£5 million for Paul Bearer
His former demonic partner in Kane wants to be reunited with his former master so that he can get back to the dominant monster he once was.

EDIT: No longer have the funds to complete this deal.

Brand: 6wE
Wrestler: Ron Simmons
Bid £18M

Brand: 6wE
Wrestler: John "Bradshaw" Layfield
Bid: £18M

Reason: 6wE is hoping to be the revolutionary of Tag Team Wrestling, we want to add one of our favourite Tag Teams in recent history, the Acolytes Protection Agency (APA). These two would be Faarooq and Bradshaw, reprising their 2000-2002 roles of the cigar smoking, beer drinking and bar brawling tag team legends, but up against newer and fresher Tag Teams such as The Miz and R-Truth, and the current IWGP and GHC Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson and Giant Bernard.

YIMCA
Tuesday Bid 1/2
Wrestler: Bret Hart
Bid: £40m
Reason:
Bret has had a very successful career but during his days in WCW there was one match most people wanted to see but it didnt happen. We are giving Bret the opportunity to face Eddie Guerrero at our PPV in the main event. These are two of the best technically minded and athletic wrestlers in the business and is a once in a lifetime offer for Bret.
Bret can also wrestle against Eddie Edwards, one of the most successful wrestlers in ROH. Daniel Bryan, a crowd favourite with excellent in ring ability is also waiting in the wings for a match with Bret.
An epic match with a fellow legend and a battle of technical ability with two of the best today awaits Bret if he joins the YIMCA.

Association: Devon Championship Wrestling
Wrestler: Brian Pillman
Bid: 22 Million
Reason: With a largely Heavyweight roster, we feel the need to bring in a top quality high flying wrestler, and Brian Pillman we feel is the man for the job. Along with this, with legends such as Sting, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, X Pac, Jerry Lynn and the Great Muta on the roster, Pillman would have no shortage of competition.

Heroes of Wrestling

TP 1:

Dynamite Kid
Fee: £15m

Reason: Dynamite Kid was years ahead of his time and he would have been a household name nowadays, we wish to show him off to a whole new generation, he's a perfect fit for this fed in a mix of high flying and technical stars where he feud with the very best in the business.

TP 2

Name: Low Ki
Fee: £15m

One of the greatest high flyers to have been in the industry and with the likes of Jack Evans, Evan Bourne, AJ Styles and many others ready to feud with him it should be a no-brainer for Low Ki to wish to join our growing ranks.

Wrestler: Raven
Bid: £20M
Reason: I am looking to build a hardcore division and I want Raven to be the main man. The guy that brings Hardcore wrestling back to what it once was. He has a new rival in Necro Butcher and they could put on some brutal matches if paired together.

Wrestler: Sandman
Bid: £15M
Reason: Similar reason to above that I am looking to build a solid hardcore division and Sandman would be another big man in the divison. He has the potential to rekindle old rivalries with Raven and new ones with Necro Buthcer, again ending with brutal matches.

nXtreme

1) Paul Heyman
Fee: £2.5 million

Reason: Fee is low due to him being bought in to 'manage' Team Lesnar. Paul will also be used to mentor the younger talent and give his advice when needed. Team Lesnar is nothing without this man!

2) Hunico
Fee £5 million

As he is not properly in the league at nXtreme we wish to give him his big shot. He will appeal to the Latino demographic along with ADR.

TP 1/2

Association: TPWF
Wrestler: Goldberg
Bid: 40m
Reason: TPWF will offer him the chance to put a long term rivalry he had with Chris Jericho to bed , not only that Jericho and Goldberg had a real life fight in the wwe locker room this will rise tension and will help both of them to end he feud and end settle their differences in the ring.

TP 2/2

Association: TPWF
Wrestler: Stone Cold Steve Austin
Bid: 40m
Reason: stone cold will be offered the chance to be back in the main event picture and all so will be working with young talents , not only that TPWF will be signing new up coming stars and legends to offer the best roster in the near future , Austin will all so get the chance to face the man he wants to and has said he would if he ever returned to in ring action. Punk and Austin have all so been going at it back and forth on twitter and all so it is know to be the dream match everyone wants to see "Drinker + hell raiser v Straight Edge. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/wrestling/3836427/Steve-Austin-Id-pick-CM-Punk-for-my-final-match.html evidence of Stone Cold saying he would pick Cm Punk for his final match , not only that TPWF has strengthened its roster with the likes of Jericho ( who Austin likes and respects alot ) and possible one of his best mates Goldberg

Association Name: UCW
Wrestler: Brett DiBiase
Bid: $9 Million
Reason: Brett's career was over before it got started IMO, I want the chance to be able to get him involved and give him the chance he deserved!I have his older brother Ted, which he will form "The Fortunate Sons" and prove that he can cut it at the very highest level. There are a few tag teams which are up and coming in UCW which he will be a vital part of. He will also get the chance to work with more expirenced guys within the roser to further his talents. Has the potential to work with a number of gimmicks to keep things fresh and intresting. I'm sure Brett would relish the chance to join an up and coming promotion filled with today's and tomorrows brightest talents!

It was not a negotiate, so he will have to be bid for again as one of Wednesday's bids.
Austin confirms that a much stronger roster is needed, rather than just one addition.

If I were you Bull, i'd use the next day to sign a few more big names, maybe use your next two bids for two different legends then get Austin.

Wrestler: Lance Storm
Bid: £10M
Reason: He has been massively underrated in the past and I am willing to hand him an opportunity to be one of the top guys in my company. He has the potential to have some fantastic matches with new faces who share similar styles in the ring ie Kevin Steen & Jack Swagger.

Wrestler: Jim Cornette
Bid: £3M
Reason: My company needs an experienced head to help run it comfortably and he fits the bill perfectly. He has worked with several of the guys in my company like Kevin Steen, Tyler Black, & The Young Bucks to allow him to ease in easily.
