Pull - fluxy just told me that Matfield had retired and I had no idea, any chance I can void my transfer for him? Seeming as he won't play a game for me, don't see the harm? Otherwise its a complete waste of 30m for me, which would be devastating!

It's pretty shot mate , slipped the disk and damaged the nerves lost all the feeling in the right side of my body when it happened and it was touch and go for a while with my breathing rate slowing. Iv made a full recovery now but still have a slipped disk in my neck so I won't play rugby ever again.

I'll update it tomorrow it's only the releases , monthly bonus and two foriegns.

At first it hit me like a tone of bricks if i'm honest because playing rugby was a big part of my life and i just wanted to lock the hospital room door and ignore the world. But when i look back i remembered bits and bobs of matchs but my best memories came from being in the bar with my mates , having a drink , hitting the town , going on tour and the general banter. I think that's what rugby is about more than anything else.

I'v been coaching the U14s since they were U11s and they have gone on to win county cups etc. I'v been asked to put myself forward to coach the second team which would be wierd as i'm only just turning 20 this Thursday and some of them have been playing 20+ years lol.
