A silly idea to pass some time, I came up with the idea whilst driving into work this morning.

Let's see who can get the furthest along the alphabet using the initial of the surname of fighters who have beaten fighters with the initial that follows the first initial alphabetically.

For example :

Muhammad Ali beat Joe Bugner, who beat Henry Cooper, who beat Jefferson Davis.

You (hopefully) get the idea.

First to 'Z' wins...

I was watching Joe Frazier v Jerry Quarry last night, I thought that there aren't many boxers who's names begin with Q, that must be what planted the seed.

Watched Frazier v Jimmy Ellis as well, he has very long legs. Might be an idea for next week : "Reverse Linear Longest Legs" or something similar.

I watched a film about Aliens called the Fourth Kind. Scared the bejesus out of me. None of them boxed though.

Just wasted a good half-hour on box rec. I don't think it can be done - search for boxers with surnames starting with 'x' and you run out of links pretty quickly.

One of the Sky channels Seany, can't remember which one but it will be on again. Watched it when the wife and kids were in bed. What a mistake that was, I couldn't move from the sofa I was so scared. Closed all the curtains and checked the back garden before I went to bed but then lay there for about 30 minutes trying to plot an escape route for the family.

I must reiterate the point that there is no boxing action in the film, and that no aliens were hurt in it's production.

Have just received a very disturbing PM from Truss.

He says that somebody has hacked into his account and has attacked Union in his name. Truss swears that he isn't responsible.

Here's the good news :

I'm too thick to know how to deal with things like hacking.

Here's the bad news :

We have at least two admin members whose knowledge of IT matters is absolutely exhaustive and I'm going to refer this to them immediately.

Trust me when I say that if they find the culprit his account will be banned immediately and permanently.
