I reckon the double drafting of Rivers and Brady caused a bit of a QB rush in your league. Seems like they were off the board so much quicker than in the West. I got Manning at the end of round 4, but over here he was gone at 21.

Beck4leagueMVP is me. Might be interested in a back and a TE but want to see how week 1 goes. Hillis may not have as good a year, but lets see. Barber is a good alternate as he's likely to get a lot of 3rd down carries now the Bears have waived Taylor. My weakness is at TE, although Lewis will probably have Newton looking for him a fair bit. Like I said, lets see what week 1 shows, but I may be open to offers...

I always go QB in the first, Rodgers was my #1 target but got Vick so not unhappy, but of course when you pick again at 20 or thereabouts there are nbo feature backs left and one of two of the top receivers have gone, everyone has a different strategy I guess....

Ford has potential, could easily be the worst trade in history for me but I'm happy taking a punt on hype.

Mate I see Gore as my only solid RB point scorer, I can see him getting plenty of carries this season, he was the only real option I had after missing out on the obvious candidates and taking a QB first round, I picked him up at #20 and was a little surprised he was still there.
I've managed to pick up Ford and Driver and let go of Thomas and Shiancoe, now have 5 backs and 5 receivers so a bit happier.

I genuinely think Tom has the better end of this trade, but he knows I'm desperate for WR and stacked at RB so I have to give up a decent option.
Put it this way if it was draft again and I already had one WR and one RB and both players were still on the board, I'd be taking Thomas

I wasn't stating my opinion on the trade either way, merely that it was an extended explanation on a deal already accepted... so it made me think that you were worried about arizona_tom getting cold feet on the deal!

Ok there's definitely something wrong with my client, it just accepted another trade that I hit reject on!

Personally, and i am in no way an NFL expert (as will be proven in this comp!), i would be happy to swap my lot, Shepton Mallet Matadors for either the Lowland Admirals or the Beck4leagueMVP.

Thanks but knowing my luck, Brady goes down in week 1 and Rivers has a stellar season after I trade him.

i really hope stafford has a good year, i took him over schaub at the time, also hope mike wallace was the right selection over other really good receivers available, the only thing that worries me is that i have wallace, holmes and williams, all relatively small and so may not be huge red zone threats like megatron or andre johnson. I know the texans defense will give me sacks and turnovers this year.
