but he still has to keep producing those performances. The season from Sea the Stars was exceptional

Dancing Brave is the best of the last 25 years and at this moment in time by quite a way.He had the brilliance and versatility to win at 8,10 and 12 in his Classic season and rounded off his European campaign by winning the second best contested 12f race ever staged on a racecourse in mainland Europe.A true Champion who but for a race too far and some ill luck around Epsom would have had a blemish free record as a three year old.

There are just so many , voted for STS, but Frankel has been amazing but only classic really is 2000 Guineas, then over a mile , Rock of Gibralatar was class a few years ago and more recently Yeats was top class stayer

Sea the Stars always did just enough to win. Watching him come from behind whether boxed in or not was quite an astonishing spectacle.

Sea The Stars ran awfully in the Arc, pulled hard, got boxed in and still won comfortably. I'm not sure how many other horses have had the temperament to do that.

Sea The Stars also won over a mile (one of the quickest 2000 Guineas in recent years), 1m2f (breaking course record at York) and 1m4f (Derby and Arc).

Frankel has won some pretty lame Group 1 races over a mile so far and no doubt the media will be ecstatic when he wins the ridiculously pathetic QEII Stakes (no Goldikova or Canford Cliffs) by beating a couple of handicappers by 20 lengths.

Frankel will have to do more next year to be classed as a great.

You can only beat whats put in front of you.I voted for Dancing Brave as the best of the last 25 but Frankel is a brilliant colt no doubt,he thoroughly deserves his rating,its easy to knock horses that win by wide margins but are you trying to say that hes beaten a bunch of nothings in all his races this season? we had a so called top clas older miler(Canford Cliffs) that was totally outstripped by him and on a strict formline through Canford then Goldikova wouldnt hold a candle to Frankel.
You voted for Sea the Stars,fine thats your opinion,its mine that the Classic colts in his stellar season were over rated en mass,including him.Thats what racing is all about,opinions.
