I was hoping pauline might have been able to answer now she's back. I thought she might have been doing investigations the whole time she's been away.

Wasn't this during Sting's Joker phase? He was meant to be insane and therefore didn't need a reason to do anything. Though I think it was around this time Hogan interfered in a 3-way title match and cost Sting the belt. So it may have been that.

But I'm leaning more towards the "just because he was crazy" angle.
