Should the Tyrone player's be worried about their manager? He has gone through a traumatic few months with tragic death of his daughter but why has he gone on this nonsensical campaign on behalf on Brian Carthy. Has Carthy taken advantage of Harte in a moment of weakness, to have a go at RTE. Harte always seemed the pragmatic type but this was plain silly. Of course more worryingly, Brian Cody and Conor Counihan also got involved. You would think they would have enough to be doing with their respective teams. Strange.

A very odd episode indeed. Even his explanation of events was odd.......he wrote to RTE and because they hadn't responded in time, they just decided to take this action..............it was a pretty meek climbdown also........and it has done severe damage to Brian Carthy's RTE career id say...................not surprised Cody got involved, he loves to bully interviewers(as we saw with Marty Morrissey in 2009) and all managers get an easy ride from Carthy............................

Mickey Harte not letting go, his entire article in the Irish News was entirely about he and his friends interactions with RTE over McCarthy.
Paraphrasing RTE have engaged in a manipulative media campaign releasing only enough detail to discredit the group. The group only ever sent the letter recorded delivery and noted private for the attention of an RTE big wig. Des Cahill was sent out to do a Shocked hatchet job by concentrating on Glenn Ryan who didn't know about the letter.

If only RTE were in charge of the country, the IMF etc would be paying the State and not the other way round.

No frankly I don't think they are thinking straight. Conor Counihan seemed to be more worried about Brian Carthy's position than his own. If he does'nt get a win over Kerry soon he will be out on his ear.
Brian Cody lost the league final against Dublin but was more worried about Brian Carthy. The whole thing is just weird.

It's none of their business so they should butt out IMO.
