Forza Fernando!
Bonjourno
The people of Monza are delighted to call this place our new home! Thank you for accepting us fine, proud, knowledgeable people. Now let’s get down to the business of debating!
Monaco has been regarded by the Formula 1 pilots as the ‘Pure Drivers Circuit' where the car tends not to matter so much. It’s mostly about the driver. The people of Monza never ever expected our glorious champion to be anywhere near Vettel in this race after the lack of performance from the car in Barcelona.
Fernando, like Vettel though made strategy pay and we can only speculate about the end of the race and who would of finished where but the People of Monza unanimously agreed that Fernando would of over taken Vettel when his tyres fell off the cliff. Jenson Button MBE with his newer tyres would eventually have overtaken Fernando his own rear tyres would fail as he makes them lat to the end of the GP. Therefore we feel 2nd Place was an amazing result!
I think Ferrari are right as they can only aim for podiums from now till the end of the season and any race wins will be a bonus. We don’t mind our driver being written off like in previous forums because it makes it funny reading people’s posts as to why he managed to fluke success.
At the end of the day it gets dark. However the people of Monza think that the sun will not be setting in the sky of Fernando Alonso yet! In fact, we think its going to be an Indian summer when the Blown Exhausts Systems are finally banned!

Re: Forza Fernando!
Bella Fernando admitted himself that it was the exact same car in Monaco to the one that raced in Spain. No updates were brought to the car and it was the unique nature of the Monaco race track which suited the Ferrari and reduced the gap between the top teams. I fully expect that once we get to the next few GP's that the Red Bull will once again dominate throughout the weekends. Ferrari have a long way to go to be able to deliver a car fernando can challenge with week in week out in all kinds of environments. Canada for instance is Lewis Hamilton territory and I fully expect him to be the main challenger going into that weekend, especially as he will want to put the Monaco incident well and truly behind him. I do believe that once those blown exhausts are banned the gap between Red Bull & the rest will drop significantly and any chance of a win you can assure that Lewis & Fernando will be there

The banning of the exhaust through the diffuser when the driver takes his foot off the excelerator would affect 90% of the teams, at the moment it's not known who would benefit most from this ban. I personally would welcome this ban for the sake of this year's F1 season, The Red Bull are taking corners at full speed whilst other drivers have to cut their speed.
Without this ban, this season's championship would be over race twelve of the season.

Re: Forza Fernando!
for instance - say this ban came into place after canada and alonso and hamilton started winning the majority of races till december but Vettel still managed to win the title by a few pts just because of his lead he gained pre ban - would the legitamcy of his title be in tatters or would it be worthy? I'm still not convinced hes the real deal, in a dominant car, weak teammate and 100% team backing unlike at Mclaren with there two drivers.

This is where the ban on the blowen diffuser will be truely interesting in regards to not only how it affects the teams, but especially how it affects Vettel in relation to the other drivers.
IMO it will make things even more exciting and should show us what Vettel is really capable of. Ive been reserved in my judgment to his ability, but now we should find out what he can or cannot do.

Re: Forza Fernando!
Red Bull have assembelled a great array of engineering talent not seen since the days of total Ferrari domination.
The people of Monza feel Adrian Newey will have already designed another counter measure to pass an FIA scrutiny test like flexi exhausts.
It would not suprise us if the Fizzy Drinks company were to engineer another gimmick that will make them just as fast.

Re: Forza Fernando!
Yeah that could be the case, we'll have to wait and see. But im going to bet on it not being the case, especialyl when the only testing that can take place is in practice/qualifying or race.

Re: Forza Fernando!
Going back to 2009 when the double diffusers were the trend because of Brawn, I believe the Red Bull was running a single diffuser but cant remeber if it was a exhaust blown one or not.
I pray for the rest of the season that it was not because it was the best of the Single Diffuser pack at the time. Maybe they may run that spec again if it still fits to the car.
