#38.... Kevin Pietersen has played both for and against England in First Class cricket.
#39 - Faf du Plessis was the captain of the Affies Boys high Cricket team - his underling? AB de Villiers.
#40 AB de Villiers was a world ranked junior tennis player, had a scratch handicap, was a national track athlete, and was a provincial-level flyhalf... Thank god he's balding, otherwise I'd think he's perfect

There's a follow on to the Bradman fact about 6s, which is that Geoff Boycott has hit more than that .

And one of my favourites, about another TMS stalwart - Aggers only took 4 wickets in test cricket, but what he lacked in quantity he made up for in quality: Gordon Greenidge, Viv Richards, Aravinda da Silva and Artura Ranatunga were his 4 victims.

.Most runs scored in a single ball [First class level] - 10
The first class record is 10 (set by Albert Hornby in 1873 and equalled by Samuel Wood in 1900), but tales from club cricket claim figures far higher than this.

.17 runs scored of 1 hit [Guniess book of World Record]

"Vinny umpired against Macleod as Borrie and I ran, walked and, finally, staggered our way to the world record of 17 runs from a single ball (p. 247 Guinness Book of Records 1992). We were enjoying ourselves. 'Twelve…' we'd shout as we headed back for another.

.CK Nayudu really did hit a ball into the next county (batting in a tour match at Edgbaston, he hit a six onto the opposite bank of the River Rea, which at the time formed the boundary between Warwickshire and Worcestershire).

.There is myth in the past that 286 runs were scored in 1 hit, but no documents to prove it.
