Stuart Hall V Vusi Malingan.
Evening,
Just wondered how the board see the above mentioned bout going tonight? Both fighters are in their mid 30's, with Hall having had 19 pro fights and two losses. I think Vusi Malingan is a year older with more fights to his name, I'm not sure about his record. I quite like watching the bantamweights often more exciting than their billed. I personally think it will go the distance but have no idea who the winner will be. Sitting on the fence.

A great effort by Hall, left absolutely everything in the ring - deserves the title.

A great night for Hall, fully deserved the win. Definitely overachieved.
Maybe he'll give Jamie a chance to win his title back?

Yep, he did wonderfully well, he gave everything and fully deserved it.
Mccloskey lost to a journey man, that will teach him to keep his dam hands up, he isn't Floyd Mayweather or Pernell Whitaker.
He just gets caught with everything, slow feet and slow reflexes. He tries to anticipate punches, rather than reacting to them, it looks so silly having your hands down and getting whacked with a jab round after round.

I didn't see the fight but see some reports are calling it British fight of the year.
I tip my hat to Hobson. He didn't lie down licking his wounds. He deserves his dues.

It was a great great fight a real war of attrition, not sure if it tops Froch vs Groves though.

Hall vscDonnell is a no brainer then.
As for McCloskey, I didn't know he was fighting but he's never been much more than 'alright' anyway. Certainly not worth the hypehe got at one stage.

Looks like Hall will face Paul Butler in March. Good fight.

Yeah, winner will have to face McDonnell. McDonnell going up to face Quigg or Frampton, would genuinely be career suicide he gets hammered by both.
