Just a hunch, Im sure there all pretty smart people to be working for the WWE!

CM Punk did a series of youtube vids about grammar which made me love him even more. 

It depends how you rate intelligence I guess. I'm sure they have a savvy beyond any of us due to the business, but would lack elsewhere.

For me I see the best talkers as the most intelligent...the ones who you can feel are working off script...probably guys like Punk, Ambrose and Bryan.

Kane is a really brainy Bar Steward.

Are we talking wrestlers that are academically sound, or wrestlers that are not necessarily honour-role students, more having and understanding of their job and the world around them? For example, we know guys like Dolph Ziggler and David Otunga are book smart, but then there's guys like William Regal* who despite making some really poor life decisions, clearly knows the business and has remained in constant employment in the Big 2 for over 20 years.

To get to the top (i.e., make it to the E) in your chosen profession, means none of them can be all that stupid. But to get off the fence, I'd have to pick a guy that gets there but then very quickly blows it. Lets say Chris Harris.

*I have no clue of his academic background, but he started wrestling professionally very young so I'm making an assumption here..

Yeah, I think that's right. He was doing stand-up about a year ago, touring around the UK, sadly I couldn't get a ticket but the blurb for his act said he was a Mensa member. Perhaps that's the name of his new stable with Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko?
