Ah Blue, good call. I watched the 1974 tour DVD not two months ago.

Slattery was an awesome 7, and for the Baa baas in the famous 1973 game against NZ.

Hound, the Western Mail did a readers' poll recently for the greatest ever Lions XV, and they selected Slattery. He is of a number of Irish players to contribute hugely to the Lions.

That's what most would think but nope I am afraid it wasn't. It was Tim Stimpson mainly because he played more provincial games and racked up the points that way.
