Sorry Trebs, no way i'd want Mertens or Montoya when all i'd improve on is my centre backs, and to be fair, Hummels and Bonucci isn't a bad pairing to begin with!

It may be two gains and two losses, but my "gains" would mess up my team!
Hummels and Bonucci for Ramos and Pique, i'd improve my defence a bit.
Azpilicueta for Montoya, would be worth it for the above.
Silva for Mertens? Come on! Silva massively > Mertens, in TM value and in ability, as well as the issue that Silva is my CAM and Mertens is a winger.
My advice to you would be to see what players you can find that are still available to sign in Foreign Transfers, and release the players you don't want to fund the new signings. Players are released at their full TM value so it's easy to do. Then swap world class players for world class players, rather than offering mediocre ones (not including Ramos and Pique, obviously)
