Ballantine's Championship, Blackstone GC, Icheon
Sorry guys, don't have the time (or the skill of a Mav or Kwini) to write a full preview, but here's a place to talk about this week's Euro tour event
Poults started his round with two doubles apparently - did well to get back to +2 after 18!

Looks like the big names have all struggled - LW 72, Poults 74, Ernie's +1 coming to the end of the round. I wonder if the early starters had worse conditions?

So westwoods making a move for the clubhouse lead and Maj going along nicely tied for lead with him with holes in hand. Its good to see DJ in the field and playing well he has hit some seriously long drives and its great to have a top yank in euro event instead of playing it safe and sticking to the US like so many do, in all the ET events so far this is only the 3rd in which a top US player has played in, with Stricker at Qatar and Woods in Dubai, hopefully we'll see more come over as the ET really is going from strength to strength

Great win for Lee, back to back victories to hold on to the number one spot for another week.

Absolutely SJ - so good to see Lee with a back to back.
Of course the nay-sayers will say that it was a weak field etc etc but he beat what was put in front of him.
Lee only needs to do it now in front of stiffer competition to really cement his #1 status. Naturally a Major would help

He still needs to do something about his putting, loads of missed opportunities and 4 rounds without a birdie on the par 3's.

As far as I'm aware, par3s carry no more weight than 4s or 5s. In fact I think the par3s usually give up fewer birdies than the 4s and 5s. Does it really matter where the birdies come from as long as you have plenty?
