Hopefully nothing will come of it but its a bit worrying he is even considering it. I wouldn't have much confidence in the BBBoC refusing him a licence.

Having seen Chris around and about over the years he looks his age and in no shape to return to boxing.

His last fight was in 1998 I think at cruiser weight where he got beat by Thompson. He is 46 now so should stay far away from the boxing ring. Looked old in the Calzaghe fight so can't imagine him fighting now.

would be entertaining. maybe he will hire a bum to beat on the same card as his son, just in order to help sell some tickets and get jnr more exposure

Eubank vs Benn 3 - http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/sport/story/153600.html

Eubank wants to complete a trilogy against Benn

"I'm a light-heavyweight now and when I look at 47-year-old Bernard Hopkins I think, 'If he can do it, why can't I?'" Eubank said in the Sun.

"To get back into the gym? Wow. To be hit again, to be hit in the chest, to be able to withstand a shot to the face, that is a dream for me, it is my fantasy.

"I was even talking to Nigel Benn and I said: 'Come on kid, we've got to get it back on'. It would be a fantasy for me to actually box again, especially on the same bill as my son.

"First I would needed public backing. I would never want to do anything to compromise the respect I seem to have as a boxer."

'Dear Chris,

You do not have our backing for a comeback. Our respect for you will be compromised.

With love,

The public'

Dear Chris,

Maybe you think your changing...but you cant change what you really are

Forget all this money and stuff around you. It dont change a thing

You dont even have a choice

You were born with a killer instinct you cant turn off and on like a radio

You have to be in the middle of the action because your a warrior. Without some challenge, without some war to fight...then the warrior may as well be dead

Chris, maybe you dont know...what im talking about now...but you will when its over

Believe me!!!

Regards

Steffan

I don't think it was that long ago that Eubank was made bankrupt owing the taxman a fortune.

The chances of Benn V Eubank 3 must be pretty slim- I believe that Benn had irregularites showing on his last brain scans, and will not get a license.
But lets be thankful for that. I was a big fan of both thes men , and really don't want to see either embarassing himself.

Benn doesn't need to get a license. He could fight on one of Frank Warren's unlicensed shows, just like Chisora and Haye might be doing.

He's just making sure that the younger generation also know he's a clown.

Attention seeking is supposed to diminish with age.

I think it's just publicity and gets his son's name out there a bit more.

It's well publicises he's broke so may be serious about a fight with Benn, funny thing is it would probably be picked up by Channel 5!

Eubank would be better off going on Big Brother or I'm a Celebrity!

Factually incorrect, it was Nigel Benn that did I'm a Celebrity.

Easy mistake to make though, they are both former boxers.

This is rubbish, saw a clip when he said this, he was joking! Such poor journalism.

(Eubank has Benns number anyway, then and now!)
